I work with UILC as the Life Skills Instructor. I had a planned a garden field trip elsewhere and they cancelled the day before. On a whim I drove by Wasatch Community Gardens and met Maddie. She was able to squeeze us in for a wonderful garden tour! We not only were able to view the beautiful plants, but also taste, smell and learn all about the plants. Maddie is an excellent educator! She is great with people and so very knowledgeable in her craft. So Grateful we decided to just check it out! Thank You for an Amazing experience!!

Came here for a free tomato sandwich party. Seems like a very welcoming community and beautiful garden. We will definitely be back for community events.

I just wanted to shout out for Olivia. She is truly an amazing person. I really appreciate her willingness to communicate with me and to come and visit our 2nd grade classes. She did such an amazing job with her presentation. All of our students have enjoyed her visit and are looking forward to visiting the garden in May 28th and 29th. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. She is very kind to our students and staff. Thank you for putting in the extra effort to create the presentations and visiting us during this busy time at work. She is truly a valuable member of your team. Our team truly appreciates it. Her positive attitude has helped us all continue to feel motivated with our learning. Thank you Olivia for your willingness to visit our classroom during the winter and talk about the plant and the Wasatch Garden as we are learning about plants and pollinators in second grade. Hope that you will be willing to visit us again for our next school year. We truly look forward each year to your visit. Here are the comments from our students and staff afterwards. Miss Olivia is very nice and cool. We are so excited to go visit the Wasatch Garden. We love the presentati

Wasatch Community Gardens is an amazing non-profit committed to the community and provides valuable urban gardening classes for both young and old. As well as the added bonus of setting up gardens in neighborhoods to allow those in the community to grow their own food through rented garden plots.
